Why This Page Exists

In 2024 and 2025, multiple browser extensions were caught secretly replacing affiliate links and cookies belonging to content creators — stealing commissions that were never theirs. Honey was exposed for this behavior and lost millions of users. Microsoft Shopping and Capital One Shopping faced class action lawsuits for similar conduct.

We built Alventis as the direct response to that. This page documents our three core promises. Each promise below states exactly what Alventis does and does not do, and our Privacy Policy sets out precisely what data we collect, what we use it for, and how long we keep it — including the fact that coupon success and failure statistics are anonymised after 90 days.

If you believe this pledge has been violated, email support@alventis.ai. We investigate every report within 48 hours and respond directly with our findings — see Report a Violation at the foot of this page.

The Three Promises

Promise 1

We Never Replace Creator Affiliate Links

If you clicked an affiliate link from a YouTube creator, blogger, influencer, podcast host, or any publisher before opening Alventis — that link and its commission belong to them.

We will never replace it. We will never redirect it. We will never modify it. We will never interfere with it in any way.

Not for any merchant. Not for any commission. Not under any circumstances. Never.

This promise has no exceptions. A creator who sent you to a store earned that commission. It is not ours to take.

Promise 2

We Never Overwrite Affiliate Cookies

When you browse the web, affiliate links set tracking cookies on your browser. These cookies tell the merchant who referred you and who should receive the commission.

If an affiliate tracking cookie was set on your browser before you opened Alventis, we leave it completely untouched. We do not read it, modify it, replace it, or delete it.

We only place our own affiliate attribution when there is no prior attribution already present. If someone else's cookie is there, we walk away.

Promise 3

We Never Suppress Better Coupons

Every coupon code in Alventis is ranked by one thing and one thing only: how much money it saves you.

No merchant can pay us to hide a better code. No merchant can pay us to promote a worse code. No commercial relationship of any kind influences which codes we show you or in what order.

Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions on purchases you make. If we hid better savings from you, you would stop using Alventis. Suppressing savings is not just wrong — it is self-defeating. We will never do it.

How Our Affiliate Model Actually Works

We believe in radical transparency about how we make money because the extensions that got sued did not explain their model honestly.

When you use Alventis to shop at a supported merchant and there is no prior affiliate attribution present on your browser, Alventis places an affiliate tracking link. When you complete a purchase the merchant pays Alventis a commission.

We share a majority of that commission with you as cashback.

There is no hidden layer. We do not build browsing profiles and sell them. We do not have an advertising network. We do not share your purchase history with anyone for commercial purposes.

We make money when you save money. That is the only incentive structure we have built, and it is the only one we will ever build.

How We Hold Ourselves to This Pledge

Every change to this pledge is recorded internally with a timestamp, the exact text that changed, and the reason for the change. If you have questions about how this pledge is enforced, contact support@alventis.ai.

What Happens If We Violate These Promises

We are a small company built on trust. If we violated these promises we would deserve to lose everything — users, reputation, and the business itself. We have no interest in becoming the next Honey.

More than that: these promises are built into how Alventis works technically, not just into policy documents. We do not inject code that reads or modifies existing affiliate cookies. We do not have a mechanism to suppress coupon codes by merchant request. The architecture itself enforces the promises.

Report a Violation

If you believe Alventis has replaced a creator affiliate link, overwritten an affiliate cookie, or suppressed a better coupon code, we want to know immediately.
